Dmitri Zarov’s work is truly masterful. As an impressionist myself and a study of impressionistic painting I find that ZAROV has something others do not. My assumption at this point is that his use of chroma is the key difference. He opposes several completely saturated colors of equal tone next to one another to achieve a bit of oscillation in color. I am always in search of images of his paintings to study them. I would love to be able to sit down and chat with this guy.
